Apple – please be very careful restructu

Apple – please be very careful restructuring your retail operations. The retail stores are a lot more than a freestanding profit center for the company. They give Apple a live ‘presence and face’ in the community. The store proximity has certainly helped me many times with repairs or grabbing a quick accessory.

Additionally, I think you need to derive a model to track how the retail store influences purchases through online outlets. I believe that the stores create many more Apple ‘converts’ than you realize…

Office 2013 – I’m running a Windows 8 V

Office 2013 – I’m running a Windows 8 VM along with a preview of Office 2013. So far so good. Outlook is pointed at Office 365 and the setup was seamless.

Civilized Travel

Here is sit on a train for a 5 hour trip. As opposed to driving, it much more comfortable, scenic and better for the environment.
